With over 15 years of experience in early childhood education and teaching, I am a passionate and dedicated instructor at Sprott Shaw College. I have a BA in Developmental and Child Psychology from the University of Victoria, and I am certified in Self-Reg ECE facilitator from the MEHRIT Learning Center. I have taught English as a second language to children in Taiwan, where I developed my international interpersonal communication and emergent curriculum skills in second language. My mission is to provide quality education and care to young learners and to support their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development; and to support adult learners to become an Early Childhood Educators through science based knowledge and strategies to nurture the minds of children with empathy and compassion. I value diversity, inclusion, and collaboration, and I strive to create a positive and engaging learning environment for my students and colleagues.
