X-Lab was founded in 2006, I joined the X-Lab team in 2018, and over the first three years of my appointment, we saw our most dramatic changes and growth.X-Lab’s core product, Labgnostic, is a service which connects diagnostic organisations (primarily pathology labs) through a single exchange hub. Labgnostic - which has historically been marketed under NPEx (the National Pathology Exchange) in the UK - has become the market leader in the UK and has played a vital role in the UK’s pandemic response by matching requests and results for the majority of the country’s COVID-19 tests.X-Lab having operated in the UK for over 15 years, has the appetite for the international growth opportunities at my tenure there I supported the build out, international expansion, helped drive the diversification strategy of their product offering within the UK and worked through operating models to support X-Lab’s international growth.
