I manage all social media channels, media buying, print ads, content and imagery, campaigns, scheduling, email marketing and analysis. I also liaise with a digital marketing agency to manage the digital marketing including SEO, Google Ads, and PPC. I have been fortunate enough to learn a lot from this agency but have also had the opportunity to attended many seminars and webinars which have massively broadened my knowledge in the ever-changing digital marketing realm. I have been brought into the financial side of the business, which I have discovered a love for. I am in charge of the marketing budget and have produced an entire business forecast for the following year. This has allowed me to further understand the importance of investing in marketing for return on investment, and how to prioritise marketing channels based on analysis and review. My role here and this company have shown me the importance of being happy in your work environment, being trusted to do what you say you’re going to do, and the importance of having a boss that believes in you and praises you. Freelance research and report writing role focused on luxury fashion brands. Through organisation and strict time management I have completed numerous, factual based reports comprising of the brand's history, story and strategy.

I was hired as the fashion content writer but was immediately given the role of Brand Manager due to my innovative vision for the company and skills acquired from university. I re-branded the company within my first month, introducing a new logo, identity and tone of voice (hence Oh Polly). I am in charge of the website development, online visual merchandising and styling on social media, eBay and the website content, brand aesthetics, all social media channels, promotional campaigns and reports. I also take part in many other tasks such as sampling (highlighting any issues with comfort or difficulty with putting on/removing garments, checking for any quality issues that may have occurred during the manufacturing process and confirming items are in sale-able condition), trend spotting, stock control, product listings and descriptions, interviewing and recruitment, graphics, photo editing and photo-shoot management. I analyse online presence and statistics in case of a need of change of the presentation for slow sellers etc, introduce offers and run competitions. I keep an excellent rapport with our customers and clientele, and help out with customer service messaging.

I applied for a Graphic Design position originally but was asked to take the role of editor after the manager saw my portfolio. I managed a team of writers/researchers and suggested and selected content. I then designed the layouts and graphic direction of the first issue. I am very proud of my work here! Since, I have asked if I can take a lower role due to my dissertation taking up my time. I am now the Art Director and am currently designing and laying out the 2nd issue.

My position at Ashiana Jewellery & Accessories taught me a lot. Not only did I get to experience working life in London, but I got involved in many tasks. I helped with visual merchandising in Harrods and Selfridges Oxford Street, I managed all their social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & Pinterest) including creating all the promotional imagery for this.I helped raise their likes on Facebook by 1000 and other platforms by hundreds of followers. I measured the success of my time here but using Google Analytics, MailChimp and HootSuite. I attended the PURE London trade show 2013 with the brand and contributed to sales. I also helped manage the office when the team were away on business.
