I am responsible for brokering partnerships and programmes with the arts and cultural, education and business sectors.Current programmes include the county-wide Kent Inspire as part of the Olympic Legacy programme, which aims to create young leaders and to establish sustainable relationships between arts and cultural organisations and schools.We are also involved with an innovative Creative Commissioning programme in partnership with KCC Public Health and Royal Opera House Bridge designed to support the arts and cultural sector on a journey to become commission-ready. There will be six pilot interventions which interpret the Six Ways to Wellbeing through innovative and high quality creative interpretations.I am lead for the Extending Digital Practice programme involving three clusters in the South East.We have just launched a Public Health Commissioning programme in Kent focusing on the use of arts and cultural interventions in tackling mental health issues and using the Six Ways to Wellbeing. SVA was part of the Arts Council's National Portfolio between 2012 and 2015. In 2012 SVA launched a major commission "Marks Measures Maps and Mind" at the King's Wood site on 26th and 27th August, a collaboration between SVA, South East Dance, Turner Contemporary and Dog Kennel Hill Project. In 2012 SVA launched a major commission "Marks Measures Maps and Mind" at the King's Wood site on 26th and 27th August, a collaboration between SVA, South East Dance, Turner Contemporary and Dog Kennel Hill Project. The event played to a diverse capacity audience and was enthusiastically received.I had responsibility for fundraising for, delivering, coordinating and evaluating SVA's education programme. This was both forest and gallery based. There was a strong environmental basis to SVA's education programmes which often combined arts and science and a strong interest in organic materials and links to landscape. SVA's commissions offered a rich variety of themes to explore and we are developing online resources. SVA works in partnership with many organisations locally, nationally and internationally. I am very interested in the wide research potential of the context I worked in in terms of environmental psychology, neuro science and understanding of place and identity. I have links to projects in Scandinavia and Australia and I am developing the health and wellbeing links of my work.During this time I published "Science Nature and Identity - experiential learning in a Land Art context" which is available through Cornerhouse.
