As the mum of 3 boys, I’ve spent part of my last three positions and the last 13 years working at home. Having this flexibility to work around my family has meant that I understand dedication and reliability. I don’t want to miss out on my kids growing up, but I never want my employers to doubt employing me and I work hard to be the best employee I can be. In the last 2.5 years one of our sons was diagnosed with autism and mainstream school broke down for him. We have advocated for our son, worked to provide the best opportunities for him and our other children while maintaining a healthy family life. Our son is twice exceptional and is fortunate to have a place in the only 2E school in the country and is thriving. I have a real passion to see people of every background, disability and life experience be treated as someone of worth and be given the opportunity to make their make and be of real value to our society. I have 20 years experience in the travel industry and have excellent technical and computer skills, great problem solving skills, people and customer service skills, and the ability to work as part of a team and independently. I now work in a highly administrative position that requires high levels of organisation and time management. I thrive on this type of technical, highly skilled and organised environment. I’ve recently graduated with a Bachelor of Business Enterprise from Southern Cross University.
