• The training, monitoring and development of staff to ensure that that their performance meets, or exceeds PGL standards, Centre objectives, Company and industry health and safety standards and acknowledged best practice.• Manage the day to day operation of the activity department, with the overall aim of maximizing customer satisfaction scores and meeting specific set targets.• Pro-actively maintain clear communication with other departments.• Delivering quality training to company standards to ensure that all Activity Instructors (AIGLs) are appropriately trained and prepared to carry out their role.• To line manage and provide ongoing mentoring to a Team of AIGLs in all aspects of their role, including periodical reviews. • To complete regular and effective observations of AIGLS staff and in line with company standards. • To assist in the process of investigation into staff performance and the possible implementation of disciplinary procedures when necessary, in line with company standards. • To proactively contribute toward creating a supportive environment for all on centre, where each person is treated as an individual.

• Liaise with all centre departments and with management to facilitate guest’s needs • Demonstrate flexibility in managing the individual needs of guests and deliver the specific requirements of each party leader.• Developing adaptations for the delivery of a broad spectrum of multi activity land-based sessions to a wide range of ages (7-18). • Provide facilities, resources and support, appropriate to the guests during un-programmed time, in conjunction with other members of the guest care team and the needs of the group.
