I have worked as an independent supply chain management consultant since 2005. My strength, expertise and interest lies in optimisation of supply chain activities for efficiency, agility and support of the overall business strategy. I work with the clients to design a robust supply chain through targeted transformation. Prior to this independent supply chain management consultant role, I was the manager in charge of contracting and procurement at Shell and BP Kenya. My work experience to date includes ERP implementation (JD Edwards), business re-engineering, category management, project monitoring and evaluation, supply chain systems reviews, executive selection and training. My industry experience includes government ministries, parastatals, not for profit organizations and private sector. I have carried out consulting assignments in North Sudan, Kenya and Tanzania. I hold a MSC in operations and supply chain management from the University of Liverpool, UK and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Nairobi where I pursued the accounting specialism. I have also finalized her Certified Public Accountant examinations. I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supplies.
