I am a private tutor, primarily for children who are Dyslexic. I have a Level 5 Diploma as a qualified Specialist Teacher for learners with Dyslexia and/or Dyscalculia. I am studying for a Level 7 Diploma so that I will be able to formally assess people for Dyslexia.In addition to tutoring and studying, I teach children who are struggling with literacy in the maintained primary sector with the charity, Bookmark. I have experience in teaching children aged 9-11 years how to pass the ISEB pre-tests for the independent sector. As a lawyer (2004-2014), I worked in the city at Allen & Overy as a trainee solicitor and then moved to Farrer & Co on qualification. I advised on International Private Client law. My practise included various aspects of wealth and succession planning, including trusts (creation, administration, amendments and general advice), estate planning (including the preparation of Wills and powers of attorney) and tax for both onshore and offshore clients. The client base I advised was broad, including ultra high net worth individuals, trust companies, companies (both onshore and offshore), trustees and other law firms. In addition, I passed the exams to become a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).I took a career break from 2014 until 2022 to raise my three children, who are still of school age.
