Football Coaching for Little Kickers Solihull: January 2019 – CurrentEvery Saturday morning I work as an assistant sports coach for the worldwide franchise Little Kickers Solihull.•This role requires good physical fitness and sufficient stamina to be able to coach children as young as 18 months up to 8 years for four hours weekly.•The classes are a fast-paced environment and I am able to stay calm in demanding situations where I can be put under pressure. •I motivate and encourage engagement from all children in the class with a positive attitude by demonstrating the games and skills with enthusiasm and energy.•I provide positive feedback to the children, identifying and helping those who need extra assistance and encouragement and make sure each child, is having fun and learning something new. •I plan, organise and set up six different games plus a warmup and cool down during each session in relation to the skill level of that age group. •Little Kickers have helped me gain excellent organisation skills and enhanced my confidence and verbal communication. During Summer 2019 I worked as a crew member at McDonalds Yardley, Birmingham. Whilst working at McDonalds I experienced job roles in the kitchens, cooking and preparing food and drinks, on the drive thru taking and giving out customer orders, on the till collecting payments and on table service presenting customers with their orders. To work at McDonalds you must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be friendly and respectful to all customers and colleagues. I believe I have all of these vital skills that are important in every job role and professional environment. From this experience I have learnt to have more confidence and that little details have big impacts.

May 2018 I was hired as a part time sales assistant alongside a team of creatives at LIVS Independent Furniture and Home Shop Solihull. My main role at LIVS was to bring a welcoming, vibrant and inspirational atmosphere to all customers that entered the store. Another part of my job role was to encourage stock sales including, small gifts, home accessories and large orders of handmade furniture through friendly customer service. I really enjoyed merchandising the store including lots of DIY; painting, window dressing, woodwork, pricing, cleaning and setting up theme-based displays upon current interior designs and trends.

My first part time job was the role of a Sales Assistant for the UK retailer Jones Bootmaker. During my time at the company I worked across two stores, Gordon Scott, The High Street Solihull and Elts The Shambles, Worcestershire. Throughout my four years at the company I highly enjoyed my time within both stores. I learnt new skills that helped me to develop my customer service. I worked on all three departments, Ladies, Men’s and Children’s, meeting, greeting, serving, measuring, fitting and advising customers about shoes and handbags. I worked flexible hours plus overtime to help set up sale preparations, sort stock, unbox deliveries and organise faults and repairs, all of which has enhanced my knowledge of business and product.
