CurrentFor this role I work remotely as a virtual assistant for a number of private medical practices. The work balanced administrative support and customer service duties with a high volume of inbound and outbound calls. In this role I work with a range of medical specialists fields and with both new and well established private practises. It was it job to provide proactive account management to these medical clients as well as service delivery and to be on hand to resolve issues as they arise.For this role I deal with complex and varied administrative work while managing a high volume of both inbound and outbound calls. I have further refined my attention to detail and ability to multitask to ensure both are kept to a high standard.I am required to be well versed and up to date on the systems, procedures and customer service needs of multiple practises and to be able to switch between these processes at a moments notice between calls or tasks, as well as switch between them in a long term sense as the roster of clients evolves.For the role I demonstrated my ability to be highly organised and responsible, excellent at task prioritisation and to deliver high quality work in a pressured environment.
Clinic Maintenance Administrator
For this role I would build and maintain clinical information systems. I was responsible for reviewing, updating and maintaining Clinical Systems, ensuring all documents are accurately and appropriately archived. I started the role in a six month secondment to assisting during a period a where a new, trust wide change of software was likely to disrupt administrative proceedings. As such it was important to learn this new computer programme not only quickly but to a depth where I could assist other members of the team who may have been struggling. I have also been on the team through several other rebuilds of the system to facilitate related software updates due to changes in the service from Covid.I have refined ability to learn and apply new software and computer systems in a short timeframe.Assisted in collecting and consolidating data to analyse how the service has been running and suggests improvements.Developed a high level of customer service skills for both internal and external staff and patients.As part of this role I was also included in the Trust's Great Place to Work Initiative which involved interviewing new applicants for my former job role, assisting with inductions for new starters and performing mock CQC inspections.As part of my current rule I supervise shifts for the Patient Service Centre. This involves monitoring the team on late shifts and weekends, making sure the phonelines operating properly, that the office is secured and that NHSP staff have had their shifts authorised.
Hospital Administrative Assistant
This consisted of administrative and telephone work. I responded to internal and external telephone enquiries and ensure that all referrals and appointments are made accurately. Outside of IT and phone work I processed referral letters, ensuring that they are checked for urgency and excluded services before being date stamped, scanned, processed and added to our database.
