I am an ecologist and conservation scientist. With the aim of enabling positive on-ground impacts, I recently completed a PhD that examined, and improved on, methods that inform decision-making about wetland conservation and management. Methods explored and applied included species distribution modelling, structured expert elicitation, spatial prioritisation and uncertainty analyses. I currently work as a Spatial Ecologist at Bush Heritage Australia and previously worked in Project and Program Management roles for the Victorian Government and at Melbourne Water. I am motivated by a passion for wildlife and bridging the research-implementation gap. I have excellent written and verbal communication skills; am experienced in program and project management, Geographical Information Systems, and data management; and competent in R and a broad range of systematic conservation planning tools.
