Experienced in providing environmental and planning support and advice to sewerage and water supply construction projects, from design and plan stages through to construction and commissioning. Aspects and impacts assessed range from terrestrial and aquatic ecological matters through to obtaining CAR licences and implementing archaeological mitigation through construction - every scheme is different. Larger scale project work includes facilitating entirety new reservoir or treatment work sites and long distance pipeline schemes within England and Scotland, some requiring Environmental Impact Assessments and Habitat Regulations Assessments. Managing around 80 projects at any one time, I ensure specific licences, permits and permissions are obtained within project program timescales so that schemes can be delivered on time and to cost. A balance of direct and contractor input is required to achieve this, working closely with other specialist services to ensure matters such as land access is obtained and work orders are successfully placed. Confident at working with various computer systems included within ISO accredited Environmental Management Systems and at updating policies and procedures as required to adhere to changes in legislation. A strong problem solver, adaptive to change, supported by excellent administrative skills with a Bachelor of Science Degree Environmental Science and more recently achieving Institute of Leadership and Management Level 2 certificate in Team Work and Management. My personal development continues, working towards a Masters in Countryside Management via part time distance learning with Scotland's Rural College.
