● Granted a $4,700 research award to work on my honors thesis about fitness industry social media engagement and its effects on young adults. Conducted surveys, social media participant observation on 1,000+ Instagram posts, and interviews with peers and with advocates at organizations empowering healthy body image. Research resulted in award-winning paper.

● Planned and implemented programming for a six day sleep away camp for 75 people and for year-round programming.● Organized donation drives for camp supplies, successfully creating engaging activities in spite of tight budget restrictions.

● Facilitated camper recruitment and community partnerships by reaching out to and meeting with community organizations. ● Planned and executed year-round programming, such as bondings for campers and informational sessions for families. ● Maintained communication and engagement with 50+ current families and community contacts year-round.

● Led Worldview Diversity workshops for Santa Clara community members and trained other student leaders to give these sessions. Co-facilitated dinners that fostered interfaith community among SCU community members.

Engaged students with group activities, handouts, and creative projects. ● Collaborated with an Instructional Coach to ensure that lessons aligned with Common-Core standards and that students were academically prepared for the school year ahead. ● Facilitated personal development through community building for a group of 10 students daily so that they could form friendships and cultivate social skills after 18 months of isolation due to COVID-19.

I call and email yoga studios around the country to get them to participate in our fundraising Shine Your Light Yoga event, which will support survivors of sexual assault. I have also written articles about the event for different health journals.
