Development and delivery of natural environment programmes and resilient landscapes across Manchester which incorporate community engagement, design and build, and employment programmes. - Currently working on developing landscape scale projects in the Irk and Medlock Valleys' which aim to help nature to recover and become more resilient to climate change, whilst connecting communities to nature and empowering them through skill training and job opportunities. - The Northern Flower House - in partnership with the Eden project and National Wildflower Centre. The project aims to introduce biodiversity and colour into the lives of communities across the North by growing wildflower meadows in local parks. The wildflower seeds sown into these new habitats can be harvested and used to create more meadows across the City, promoting a circular economy whilst contributing to a biodiverse and healthier city region.- Develop greening plans for urban environments with the trust Landscape architects to create resilient and biodiverse landscapes which can respond to future changes in climate, co-designed with the local community through engaging activities and events which connect them to nature.

Project Manager of the Resilient River Valleys Project- Lead on the planning and delivery of the Resilient River Valleys Project. £1.4M climate mitigation and adaptation project across 27 sites in 3 boroughs were I oversee the budget and complete reports for the Green Recovery Challenge fund (HLF). The RRV team is made up of 38 staff within Groundwork GM and at partner organisations City of Trees and Mersey Rivers Trust. - To date we have engaged with over 6000 people, connected 1800 people with nature through community engagement, outreach events and by delivering training programmers. Staff and volunteers have delivered landscape scale improvements to habitats including installing leaky dams, managing wet woodlands, re-instating ditches and pond networks all to increase water storage capacity and help ilvaite impacts of flash flooding. Nature based solutions such as tree and hedgerow planting and the create of wildflower meadows in urban environments also helps to 'slow the flow' and increase biodiversity.- RRV's drone pilot has working with Natural Course help to mapping and recording invasive species across the Irwell catchment. - The project has seen 30 trainees many of whom have little or no experience in working in the 'green sector' complete training programmes to enable them to be urban ranger, community outreach officers and project officers with over half of those who have completed the programme progressing into onward training or employment.

- Managed a team of 18 staff. Strategic lead for the 77 acre, Grade II listed site. Responsible for implementing actions from the conservation management plan. Prepared regular reports for the West Ham Park Committee and financial management of £1.2M local risk budget - Secured £1M capital funding for the refurbishment of the playground. Lead on the development of the project from inception (including impact assessment), consultations with users and obtained planning approval for the project. - Management of 1500 trees including National Collection of Liquidambar styraciflua. Tendered and appointed new tree inspection and works contract. - Worked closely with Friends of West Ham Park, coached and support them to deliver a varied events program. Worked with them to apply funding to deliver improvements in the park.- Learning – delivered expansion of wildlife gardens on site by 1500m. Friends group, corporate and local volunteers created dead hedges, log piles and other features to enhance habitats. Between 2019 – 2021 4,500 hours of learning was delivered on site.

- Responsible for managing 36 staff and an extensive portfolio of property and infrastructure including defects management from Grade I listed pergolas and gardens, to outdoor swimming lido and traditional parks facilities. - Finance: £1M budget, procuring fleet and equipment for the division, in addition - managing improvement projects and Health and Safety across the division - Fleet and Equipment Management - manage the 350 items for the division including servicing, repairs, inspections. Monitor fuel usage and implement new ways of working to reduce usage. - Operational training - manage the procurement and implementation of operational training for the division.- Weekend Duty Manager - ensuring that staff are delivering services to the required standards, coordinating and leading on any emergency response situations.

- Responsible for 32 members of staff, £1.2 million pound budget and 200 gardens and areas of open space within the Square Mile. Lead in the development and implementation of Health and Safety systems. Ensuring all gardening, cleansing and maintenance duties throughout the year achieve high standard (section achieved Gold in London in Bloom 2011)- Project management and preparation for the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics street dressing for the Square Mile.- Prepare regular reports for the Superintendent of Parks and Garden on key performance indicators, the progress of improvement schemes and projects, current operational issues and financial management

- Delivering new intranet site for the Open Spaces Department. - Prepared a fundraising proposal for the department and delivered improvements to Burnham Beeches Donation Scheme, created Queen’s Park donation scheme and Golders Hill Park Zoo animal adoption scheme. Produced a conservation management plan tender for Queen’s Park.- Development of Health and Safety framework and Occupational Safety and Health Manual.

There are 376 open spaces totalling 32 hectares in the City of London that include parks, gardens, churchyards and plazas. My role as Project Support Officer was to leading on development and delivery of a Biodiversity Action Plan. Developing and delivering program of activities and events for residents, volunteers and school groups. Organising and delivery of City’s entry into London in Bloom. Creating planting plans and Implementing new landscaping projects in the square mile. Organising annual tree inspections.
