I am currently a part time student at Sheffield Hallam University studying my MArch and working for a predominantly residential practice, Hayes and Partners Architects.Academically, I have focused on the affordable, adaptable, accessible housing for which I am currently exploring the organisation and production processes through the design of a sustainable modular factory that encourages community engagement and agency over the development of the built environment.Professionally, I work on bespoke residential projects for private clients. My designs vary in style according to client preferences, whatever that may be I strive to produce the best example of that style.

I was offered a couple of weeks work experience and after that was asked to continue working for a while as I had proved to be good at what I could do. I spent that majority of my time working with the other Architects creating details for their projects ready for Tender. I also spent some time creating initial design concepts from a client brief. I was also given the opportunity to visit a couple of project sites and speak to some clients during my time spent there. It was a great experience and has developed my knowledge of working as part of an efficient team in a working environment.
