Working closely with state paddling associations, clubs, and international federations, I spearheaded key initiatives and achieved notable successes.My responsibilities included developing a strategic plan for sport operations, fostering stakeholder relationships with international and domestic bodies, and overseeing various committees responsible for different paddle disciplines. Additionally, I managed approximately 15 national-level competitions, including those crucial for Australian team selections. Furthermore, I led the selection and coordination of national teams for various paddle disciplines to compete in prestigious global events.In my newly created role, I refocused the organisation on best practices for participation, performance, competitions, safety, education, coaching, and volunteering. I also made strategic hires, recruiting qualified professionals to strengthen the Sport Operations department.Additionally, I initiated the development of a business plan for Paddle Education, aligning it with the objectives of the broader strategic plan for paddling in Australia.
