Currently in my 13th year of teaching in primary education and despite the many changes I’ve experienced within the job, and the fact that the job hasn’t got easier over the years, I still absolutely love what I do for a career. I feel very lucky and grateful to be able to do a job that I love. I believe I still have the same passion for the job that I had when I first started and still strive to be the best I can be, and in turn help the children that I teach be the best that they can be. I enjoy the extra responsibility of leadership and believe that my 13 years of experience are worth sharing with my colleagues and those that are new to the profession of teaching. As a mother of 3 wonderful children, my job of teaching doesn’t end at school. I love being able to teach my own children and hopefully am raising them to be good humans with a love of learning.
