🌍 Growing up in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, I was raised in a diverse, multicultural community. This enabled me to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for the importance of different perspectives, backgrounds and religions. 🌱 My passion for sustainability, sparked by my love for geography and problem-solving, has been a constant in my academic life. At 16, I reached the top 5% of over 2000 applicants in an international 'Sustainability’ essay competition. By 18, I earned an A* in my EPQ on 'Sustainable Cities', inspiring my ongoing pursuit of these interests at university level. 🤝 Volunteering is another of my passions and something I have been committed to since childhood. The charities that I have worked with range in causes, and I have had the privilege of working with multiple people to make a difference. 🌈 One key aspect of social sustainability that is important to me is diversity and inclusion. Throughout my international upbringing and volunteering experiences, I have had the opportunity to work with people from a wide array of backgrounds and cultures. Therefore I prioritise contributing to building environments where everyone feels respected, included and valued, reinforcing my commitment to equality and equity. 🎓 Currently, I am looking for graduate schemes and job opportunities that allow me to channel my interests and skills to contribute to a sustainable future.
