I have had 30 years accounting and book-keeping experience. This includes accounting tasks such as VAT returns, cashflow, analysing expenditure and budgets, balance sheet reconciliations, profit and loss and balance sheets. Plus basic book keeping, such as sales ledger, purchase ledger, credit control, journals expenses, petty cash, dealing with foreign payments and sales, national statistics etc. I enjoy developing my skills on a continual basis. Whilst working at my previous employment I completed a post-graduate Certificate in Management Systems. I recently passed a training course on Sage 50 Accounts. I have extensive IT knowledge in Excel, word, Icon, Multisoft Sage and Xero. I have excellent attention to detail. I enjoy working as part of a team, but I have the confidence and initiative to work on my own.
