As staff writer/sub editor at PTA+ Magazine, my responsibilities included writing accurate copy for both PTA+ Magazine and online (using CMS) the magazine (using InDesign), researching stories, interviewing and setting up interviews with celebrities, contacting readers and companies for case studies and testimonials, liaising with PRs to offer readers giveaways/competitions and representing the magazine at events. I liaised with the commercial director to ensure continuity commercially and editorially. I regularly represented the magazine at events, including Puffin and LEGOLAND.
