Recruiting RNA's and HCA's for NHS Hospitals around Leicestershire and Northamptonshire.I am responsible for managing the recruitment process from start to finish. Ensuring compliance is accurate and sufficient for each candidate that registers with Fosse Healthcare.

Recruiting live in carers to care for a vulnerable adult 24 hours a day 7 days a week. This involved international recruitment of a large scale. Completing up to 35 telephone interviews a week, Running assessment centres, face to face interviews and giving face to face feedback after every assessment centre. Ensuring that we have the right calibre of carers for our customers. I was responsible for chasing candidates references and sending off their DBS check whilst candidates were on the training course, so this was time critical. I also attended three trips to Spain for recruitment events to recruit carers to work in the UK for Helping Hands. A project which I managed and proved to be very successful! We went to Benidorm, Majocar and Torrevieja in November 2013 for 5 days of interviewing for which I had arranged candidates to attend from all over Spain. We went to Malaga in December 2013 for 2 days and in Feb 2014 we did our first full week training and recruiting in Torrevieja. I was there for the full week to manage that everything ran smoothly for myself, the training team and the candidates. I was reasonable for under taking the assessment centre on day 1 in Spain to assess the calibre of candidates. We had a total of 37 candidates in Spain! A very fast pace busy event.

This was a very busy, fast pace role. I was responsible for not only sitting front of house on reception but also writing carer profiles for our customers/decisions makers to decide upon which carer they would like. I also managed the on site accommodation which had 29 beds. I was responsible for organising and arranging all travel for recruits coming to the UK from abroad or around the UK for the training course every single week. I was also responsible for answering the phones, dealing with high volume of emails and meeting and greeting our carers and customers who would come through the door.

I started at Next when I was 17. I gradually worked my way up to merit sales which involved running a small store in Stratford upon Avon town every Sunday whilst I was at college. I was responsible for delegation of tasks, closing tills, excellent customer service, cashing up and locking up. I also carried out the usual retail duties including merchandising the store, collating best seller figures and I was a key colder. This was a very responsible role where trust and integrity were key. I worked at Next part time what at university, during the holiday periods. This was at the big retail store in the Maybird centre, Stratford upon Avon.
