The start of my career involved recruiting within the care sector in Stratford Upon Avon, I have since moved to Leicestershire to work for a fantastic leading Nursing agency Fosse Healthcare. Previous to that I spent 3 years studying Business and HR Management at Sheffield Hallam University. I am a very enthusiastic, self motivated individual who thrives on being successful. Recruitment Co-OrdinatorHelping Hands Homecare Feb 2012 - Feb 2014Recruiting live in carers to care for a vulnerable adult 24 hours a day 7 days a week. This involved international recruitment of a large scale. Completing up to 35 telephone interviews a week, Running assessment centres, face to face interviews and giving face to face feedback after every assessment centre. Ensuring that we have the right calibre of carers for our customers. I was responsible for chasing candidates references and sending off their DBS check whilst candidates were on the training course, so this was time critical. I also attended three trips to Spain for recruitment events to recruit carers to work in the UK for Helping Hands. A project which I managed and proved to be very successful! We went to Benidorm, Majocar and Torrevieja in November 2013 for 5 days of interviewing for which I had arranged candidates to attend from all over Spain. We went to Malaga in December 2013 for 2 days and in Feb 2014 we did our first full week training and recruiting in Torrevieja. I was there for the full week to manage that everything ran smoothly for myself, the training team and the candidates. I was reasonable for under taking the assessment centre on day 1 in Spain to assess the calibre of candidates. We had a total of 37 candidates in Spain! A very fast pace busy event. -
