The IPENZ Engenerate Committee is made up of volunteers who organise events for young engineers under the age of 35. Engenerate encourages young professionals to achieve CPEng and develop valuable networks throughout the way.I have been on the Auckland Engenerate Committee since 2012 serving as secretary, vice chair and the chair. In addition to organising events for our members, my role involves chairing committee meetings, liaison with IPENZ National office and other IPENZ special interest groups.Building on my experience on chairing the Auckland Engenerate Committee, my role as National Chair involves overseeing activities in 13 regional committees, liaising with the IPENZ Governing Board on behalf of young graduates and encouraging young graduates to achieve professional registration.
