As a school social worker, I work closely with students, families, and staff to promote and ensure student success. My job focuses on academics and the social-emotional well-being of students. In addition, I promote equity in classrooms, inclusion and diversity in school buildings, and trauma-informed care. I work on teams that determine eligibility for special education services and classroom interventions. I provide extra support for students with poor attendance and are currently living in temporary housing. Furthermore, I connect families with community resources and mentor newly hired school social workers on my team.

I advocated for student academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success while working towards my master's degree in social work. I worked with various stakeholders to promote student success and connected families to resources.

I interned as a behavioral health counselor while working towards my master's degree in social work. I planned and led lessons that promoted self awareness, social-emotional health, and building healthy habits and boundaries. I promoted inclusion and worked with diverse populations.

During the summer of 2015, I started the season as a camp counselor. After 5 weeks, I was promoted to an Assistant Director. Then, I worked as the Director of Camp Communications during the summer of 2016.

I acted as a secondary case manager for therapeutic foster care and adoption cases while working towards my bachelor's degree in social work.

I worked at the help desk assisting students, faculty, and staff. In addition, I worked with incoming students and families during new student orientations.

I started as a host and eventually worked my way to the head hostess position.
