I am currently an Education Mental Health Practitioner working within Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As part of this role, I provide 1:1 CBT-based interventions to children and young people with mild-to-moderate mental health difficulties. My background includes an Undergraduate BSc Psychology (Mental Health) degree and a Masters in Psychological Wellbeing and Mental Health. My experience also includes working with children with special needs within an SEN school, working with adults with severe mental health difficulties, volunteering as a crisis counsellor for Shout Crisis Text Line and also volunteering on another mental health helpline for young people under the age of 25. I have a strong passion for improving mental health and well-being, particularly in children and young people, and I always strive to make a positive difference in every area of work I do.
