Dedicated partner to scale Thinkific’s Go-to-Market teams (Sales, Marketing, Creative & Growth) as a full cycle recruiter. Within this position, I was able to dedicate time to both top-of-funnel recruitment and mid-funnel candidate experience, in addition to streamlining recruitment operations to improve efficiency for Thinkific’s talent team. Talent acquisition at Thinkific utilizes the Topgrading Methodology (and certification process) with a focus on relationship building to forge business partnerships with Go-to-Market teams for hiring strategies and projections.

Culinary Recruitment International is a startup agency that aims to provide a solution for hard to fill roles. The role of Recruitment Manager was dedicated to developing a business model that filled a void in the labour market though unconventional hiring methods. In this position, we create an international recruitment strategy that sourced skilled workers from different countries around the globe. During our first years in business, CRI was successful in facilitating internationally based interviews that has led to the immigration of hundreds of skilled workers to Canada. In addition to business development, this position worked to source applicants, build employer relationships, and brand creation of the startup.Key Accomplishment• Developed internationally based interviews which served anywhere from 4-8 employers per trip, to participate in interviews based in Morocco. Interviews were held both in-person in Morocco and via video with hundreds of candidates. Within 2 years, we conducted 8 trips resulting in almost 200 hires.

One of three Recruiting Coordinators for Whistler Blackcomb, designated to the Human Resources, Food & Beverage, Information Technology, Heli Skiing, and Lodging divisions. Responsibilities included communicating with division management and facilitating the full lifecycle of recruitment for their labour needs. In addition to, creating initiatives to fill the talent pipeline, travelling internationally and domestically to recruit talent, and onboarding 2500+ employees for seasonal ramp up.Key Accomplishment • Top-of-Funnel Initiatives: As the designated Food & Beverage recruiter, I was tasked with filling back of house position for 12 different outlets. With a constant challenge of finding mid-level management with correct certifications, I worked with the Executive-Chef to develop an apprenticeship program. The apprenticeship allowed Whistler Blackcomb employees to complete their Red Seal certification via distance education, free of cost, while working at Whistler Blackcomb. Not only did this initiative help us find top-of-funnel talent, it also created succession planning and reduced churn within our F&B back of house teams.

The Front Desk Coordinator role adds more responsibility and requires additional comprehension to the Front Desk Representative role. Responsibilities include, the full hiring process of other Front Desk Representatives, including short listing, interviewing, administratively hiring, and then training new hires on all systems and operations. Additional key involvement in the hiring and rehiring of thousands of seasonal staff for Whistler Blackcomb ramp up.

The Front desk representative role served as a great introduction to the Human Resources field, as an HR generalist type position. The role supported payroll, benefits, and employee relations teams as well as worked directly with the recruitment coordinators. This allowed me the experience to take job posting from start to finish, feel comfortable short listing, interviewing, and executing the administrative side of hiring. During my time at the front desk, I received the 3R award for the Employee Experience division for delivering exceptional customer service.

Computer POS Systems/ Customer ServiceWorking in a team environment, while engaging and coordinating with guests to sell transactions that are of a high price point. Usually scheduled within hotels locations to coordinate with more elite guests. Worked through the POS system RTP, while constantly communicating with Snow School’s schedulers, supervisors, and managers.

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store with a large focus on achieving daily store business goals. The position has allowed exposure to motivating, mentoring, and supervising my team. Providing experience with on-your-feet type thinking and coming up with adequate solutions that factor in numerous employees.
