Lucy M. Duncan is CEO of Safe Ports. Our company's overarching goal is to prevent human suffering as a result of conflicts, environmental and weather-related disasters. We augment the logistical capabilities of host governments and other contractors. And we do this very well. During all of 2021 with the pandemic's expansion and unprecedented migration on our US Southern border, Safe Ports recognized that the scope and scale of this human disaster was unfolding too rapidly across all of Central America and right into America's heartland. Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador are continuing to experience high levels of corruption, gender-based and gang violence, desperately declining trust in gov't, inequality and hopelessness. Safe Ports is an award-winning company because we excel in finding solutions to mission critical challenges. Safe Ports' strategic planning and operations, logistics, training, technical resources and more are on the move to Central America, prepared to help increase transparency, supply chain efficiencies and security. Safe Ports is committed to solving critical problems, coordinating with US and local governments to implement effective, sustainable solutions. Looking ahead at 2022, Safe Ports will expand its geographic presence with more fuel support, physical distribution and warehousing, skills-based training, disaster recovery, transportation and health commodity supply chain management.

DRI provides strategic thinking, planning and on-the-ground doing to ensure our clients achieve their goals. We become an integral team member, working to fully understand our client's challenges, and utilizing our experience, knowledge, global network we expand their reach to attain success.

Diplomatic Resolutions, Inc, (DRI) identified, developed and program managed large modernization projects in emerging markets for cllients such as Cisco, Tandem, Sun Microsystems, Iridium, Tyco, Microsoft, Netscape, Oracle and others; consulted for the World Bank, the OECD, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and Brazil and performed ethics surveys and training in Argentina, Colombia and for various US defense companies. DRI became a divsion of Safe Ports in 2009 to provide senior level business development, international outreach and public affairs support from its base in Washington, DC.

Lucy founded Safe Ports and serves as its President/CEO, she sets strategy and direction, builds the company's culture and leads the senior team in Expeditionary Logistics, Mission Critical Technology and capacity building Advisory and Training Services.

Lucy founded Diplomatic Resolutions, Inc in 1992, the company participated in major wins for Silicon Valley's most important technology companies in all emerging regions until 2001. Today DRI represents US businesses overcome regulatory headaches in health care and immigration.

Muse Americas was conceived by the Organization of American States and a Board of Directors to establish an online portal linking museums and cultural centers throughout the Western Hemisphere. It was launched at the Summit of the Americas in Quebec with more than 300 participating museums and content in French, English, Spanish and Portugese; content was presented in six levels from the first reading level to professional research. Initial funding came from the Carlos Slim Foundation in Mexico. The site was taken offline following the tragic events of 2001. I served as the Museum's president during the development, funding and launch; the vast cultural richness of the Western Hemisphere when presented to students throughout the Americas was astounding, the joy of discovery and the awakening of the concept of Western Hemispheric "unity" totally inspiring. Although the MuseAmericas debut was made at the highest level of leadership during the Canadian Summit meeting, its time to shine on the world stage has yet to come. On behalf of our tireless volunteers, benefactors, technical and content contributors, the Muse is and always will be a beacon for educational and cultural connectivity.

The Washington Symphony Orchestra was the oldest community symphony in the United States; its members were largely professionals who donated their love, passion and talent to perform in underserved neighborhoods and schools to awaken children to the joy of making music. Our board was amazing - all dedicated to funding some of the most joyful events in Washington - from the Symphony to Celebrate the Pandas at the National Zoo to High Marks in Education at the National Geographic headquarters, the results were in the shining eyes of the young people invited to particpate with our musicians. My time with the WSO was so rewarding, I am ever grateful for the years together.
