Under supervision, student assistants perform duties ranging from unskilled to skilled and/or specialized in a variety of positions that typically require the use of manual, clerical, advising, public contact, and/or analytical skills, and perform other related duties as required.Work performed ranges from a variety of semi-skilled clerical/manual duties under supervision to performing a variety of complex duties with specialized skills in support of academic research projects under general supervision.

As a participant in HSRC 2021, I had an opportunity to meet esteemed Harvard professors and researchers who are at the forefront of their fields. In addition to networking with fellow accomplished and passionate high school students, I was also able to learn from Harvard student presenters and practice skills that helped me to get involved in any type of scientific research.

One of the youngest members of the team, and as a DPS, my team and I proposed, discussed, directed, and designed a NASA-approved lithospheric mission called FIELDS (Fracking Impact on Earthquake, Land Deformation, and Subsidence)

Worked under the supervision of Dr. Yuntao Wu and his assistants about the PSGL-1 mutagenesis work to determine what is the minimal functional requirement for PSGL-1 to block HIV-1 infectivity.

Spoke about “The Mechanisms of PSGL-1 Restriction on HIV-1, SARS-CoV-2, and Other Pseudovirus Attachment and Infectivity”
