Management of projects and sales activities/initiatives to ensure that sales best practice is consistently and rigorously applied across Europe.Examples include:Key communication interface to senior stakeholders from Ownership groups and managed portfolio as well as sales liaison across all non-sales departments within IHG Management of the National & Area.

Support the UK&I Sales Director with the coordination of all activities to deliver revenue targets of £8m into the UK&I estate, lead the coordination of the national sales forum, area sales forum and account workshop meetings to deliver the national sales plan and act as the key point of contact for the national sales and area sales forum members.

Responsible for all Conference, Events and Incentive Service for over 260 member hotels worldwide including:Drive and develop existing and new business for member hotels from the worldwide MICE Market, increasing consumed business to member hotels by 60% Recruit and control the Hosted Buyer Programme for the “Great Hotels Meeting Forum” which took place.

Overall responsibility for the conference and events sales, planning and operation departments. Overall responsibility for the three food and beverage outlets within the hotel.

For the first year of employment, my role was as front of house manager, responsible for reservations and the front desk. After one year, and for the remainder of my employment I took responsibility for the operation of the food, beverage and events departments.
