Planet of the Apps – which is currently in its third series – is the home of mobile technology and apps. The show explores everything from the coolest gadgets to the most useful apps, as well as in depth interviews with industry leaders and personalities.

Responsible for planning, coordinating and giving presentations, hosting seminars and taking part in on-stage debates about home technology and consumer electronics to an audience of 400+ at the UKs top contemporary home show. Previous topics have included home automation and the Internet of Things, the latest innovative home tech, eco-friendly gadgets and technology for the home and the rise of electric cars.

Responsible for creating, coordinating and presenting fun and informative technology shows to an audience of 500+ with Radio One's Aled Hayden Jones. HUB Sessions have included presentations on smartphones, tablets, phablets and laptops, wearable tech, gadgets for the home, home automation and the Internet of Things, music gadgets, photography, toys and fitness tech.

Responsible for the creation and development of all video content across Stuff.tv and Stuff iPad edition. This included sourcing and reviewing a wide range of gadget and lifestyle products, writing scripts, presenting, filming, self-shooting and editing informative and entertaining video reviews and features, researching and writing podcast scripts and sourcing video locations and organising video shoots. My role also involved liaising with technology and lifestyle manufacturers, PR companies and National Media, while developing a vast contacts list within the industry. Other responsibilities: researching and writing news and features, transforming complex information into engaging, easy to read and informative editorial, presenting breaking news from trade shows and delivering precise copy to daily and weekly deadlines and to a specific in-house style.Developed and created a successful video channel for Stuff.tv with high viewing figures, drove in excess of 3million views to Stuff's YouTube channel while introducing new, unique and effective video formats. Used a variety of social networks to maximise Stuff's social media strategy to help the brand better engage with readers and improve website traffic. Being a brand ambassador for Stuff meant I regularly represented the company on national news, radio and various TV platforms, including Gadget Show Live, Grand Designs Live, BBC 6Music, London Live, Rinse FM, BBC 5Live, BBC Two and BBC News. I represented the company in the UK and at international at press conferences, launches and briefings, industry events, vendor sponsored press trips and trade shows and co-hosted the annual Stuff Awards at the BFI Film Museum in 2012.
