Providing Environmental Management consultancy to a large corporate, multi-national financial services firm, supporting them with the on-going maintenance and requirements of their ISO 14001 certification. This includes on-going technical report-writing for energy, carbon and waste statutory requirements across the wide portfolio of group properties and assets, legislative reviews and liaising with a variety of facility managers and other stakeholders. Additional consultancy for other RPS clients, including Sustainable Construction advice, BREEAM assessments and waste policy development and developing client relationships.

Strategy and associated Action Plans. • Operation Cell lead, in Borough Emergency Centre, and Liaison Officer for three most-affected boroughs, during severe flooding in winter 2013/2014 – required fast-thinking to deal with life and death issues.• Work with other depts. to develop and deliver shared projects such as new waste collections with the operational Streetscene team. • Design and deliver large-scale projects such as new waste collection schemes to >40,000 households, Borough-wide communication campaigns to reduce waste and increase recycling. • Sustainability Consult – provide planning advice to two Local Authorities, approve renewable energy installations and assessments.

Tuvalu, South Pacific

• Responsible for technical and logistical support and advice - including a comprehensive assessment of on-going and proposed programmes and a Gap and Needs analysis of the NGO services across Tuvalu. • Strengthened and improved capacity of NGO leaders and workers through training and information events such as Strategic Planning workshops with the National Council of Women.• Identified funding sources and compiled multi-agency funding bids such as a $7.3m AusAID Water, Sanitation and Hygiene bid.• Increased collaboration and networking between NGOs, Govt. and international agencies and donors, such as the Red Cross. • Advised the Dept. of Rural Affairs on data analysis and strengthening local governance.• Arranged and participated in country-wide publicity campaigns, on issues including water use, waste minimisation and sexual health. • Advocate for environmental management with community and government including the delivery of a climate change adaptation project planting mangroves to decrease storm surge impacts.• Increase accountability, transparency and efficiency of TANGO’s operations.
