I worked at Hall for Cornwall theatre as part of a National Lottery Heritage Fund project, Revealing City Hall. My role blended collections management and development with creative interpretation. This role ran concurrently to the building's closure during a £28 million transformation and the first six months post re-opening.I managed the development of a 750 item digital heritage collection and microsite aimed at enhancing the understanding of the many social uses of the important civic building in which the theatre is based. This was complemented by timelines, videos, podcasts, VR tours and oral histories.This work fed into the broader interpretation of the building's heritage. I consistently delivered strategy and programming through a program of interventions, events, workshops and high-profile public art commissions.Key Achievements:1. Commissioning of a large scale public artwork series from typographer Alan Kitching for the entrance to the auditorium. The Performance Timeline commission displays over 300 key performances and uses the same wooden type use to create City Hall's posters in the mid-20th Century. This commission was completed with a three day visit to Cornwall from Alan Kitching, a sold out In Conversation panel discussion and talks and workshops at Falmouth University and CAST.2. Commission of artist Kerry Lemon to illustrate 10 key moments from City Hall's history which sit embedded across the ground floor of the building as Storypoints. The points were decided upon following a week long artist residency and consultation with local community groups.3. Completion of six post-graduate collections and/or interpretation placements for museum professionals seeking experience in Cornwall.4. Commission of a heritage VR tour of the building.5. Programming of a brand new series of monthly makers workshops. This programmes has been extended to the end of December 2022 due to its success.

I managed the artists collection programme at Bridgeman Images, acting as a key business development and artist relationship co-ordinator with direct line management responsibilities.
