I am an experienced marketeer who is passionate about marketing high-growth, rapidly changing businesses. I've been involved with market leading businesses from an early stage, including Oracle, Siebel Systems and Salesforce. I recently spent 5 very happy years as CMO at Erevena, an executive search firm working with investor backed start-ups. I am also an active member of Boardwave, the powerful community of software leaders and investors, where I have been involved since inception.I previously led a small marketing team at Invenias a SaaS business, and was instrumental in growing the business globally to profitability with over 1,000 customers, and through the successful acquisition by Bullhorn, backed by Insight Venture Partners.I have a wealth of marketing experience, gained running my own businesses and working in the Software Applications and SaaS market. I thrive in a fast growing environment, quickly reacting to changing circumstances. I joined Siebel Systems as the 20th employee in Europe and was fundamental in driving the success of Siebel in the UK and Europe during a period of rapid growth, when the company was recognised as the fastest growing applications software company in the world. I have experience across all marketing disciplines, including marketing communications, lead generation, video production, product launches, public relations, advertising, customer advocacy programmes, event management, channel marketing, executive programmes, digital and direct marketing. I also have experience of running my own business and I am an active supporter of Working Options which helps young people reach their potential in the world of work; and Action for Children, and was until recently a Board Member of Thames Valley Byte Night.
