I began my career at the Lansdowne Club as an Event Co-ordinator and progressed to Head of Events in 2009. I currently have a team of 6 full time staff that report directly to me and I report directly to the CEO/Club Secretary.Whilst still remaining very “hands on” with the sales and coordination of weddings I have also been heavily involved with marketing, planning, writing SoPs for the department, profit and loss calculations, budgets, including cost controls, revenue analysis and forecasting.The role has required me to be highly organised and efficient in order to maintain professionalism under pressure and to work to deadlines. I also always make sure that the morale of my team is high, keeping them motivated and challenged, through good understanding, communication and consideration.The club hosts an array of private functions, including weddings, conferences, dinner dances, awards ceremonies, seminars, wine tastings, fashion shows, drinks receptions and all manner of private functions for both members and non-members. With 5 function rooms the Club can cater for up 250 people.
