In practice for nearly 25 years, Lucy helps clients protect their wealth, minimize taxes, and avoid family disputes when possible.Lucy Park counsels high-net-worth individuals, traditional and nontraditional families, family offices, and family-owned businesses on wealth preservation and transfer, family investment vehicles, charitable giving, and multigenerational and business succession planning. Her clients also include C-level executives, entertainers, entrepreneurs, and investors.Lucy advises fiduciaries and beneficiaries on the administration of trusts and decedents' estates, probate, and pre- and post-mortem planning. She also assists clients with premarital and pre- and post-divorce planning, asset protection, and international tax planning. Lucy works with individuals and tax-exempt organizations to address a range of tax issues affecting charitable giving and the formation and administration of public charities, private foundations, and donor-advised funds.For a number of years Lucy was an adjunct professor at Chicago-Kent College of Law in the Graduate Program in Taxation, teaching Estate Planning as well as Federal Transfer Taxes. Lucy serves on the board of the Goodman Theatre in Chicago (as well as on its Spotlight Society Advisory Council). She is a member of the Chicago Estate Planning Council.
