Welcome to my Linkedln~My name is Lucy. I am in fourth year Aerospace Engineering. Last year, I learned Finite Element Analysis and used ANSYS to determine the nodal deflections, reaction forces, and stress for different truss systems in projects. During my third year Hand-Thrown Glider project, I improved engineering design software skills in laser cutting, 3-D printing, and CATIA by drawing 3D airfoil, vertical and horizontal stabilizer.During my second year landing gear project, I obtained an immense satisfaction in collaborating with team members and using MATLAB to design motion analysis (displacement and velocity analysis) for a retractable landing gear. In this summer, I worked as a Research Assistant at Ryerson.I am working as a International Student Support Assistant at Ryerson.I am very excited to have the chance to gain knowledge of load, stress and fatigue analysis of landing gears and sub-systems because I have a great desire to learn and want to continuously improve. No matter whether it’s a job or project, I keep a good attitude towards work and study. In addition, I enjoy networking with team and I have strong study abilities and a passion to learn new things.I am good at sports. I won first place for Mixed doubles and Girl's singles in Table tennis Tournament. I am still passionate and invested in playing table tennis every Friday. It keeps me positive, energetic, and ambitious everyday as well as expands my circle of friends so that I am able to meet and interact with people of diverse backgrounds and interests.Top 5 strengths: 1.
