I help English as Additional Language children in the classroom and on a one to one basis following a prescribed programme. I also give occasional lessons in Russian and Spanish to classes where a new child of that nationality has arrived, to help with integration. I also run a drumming club where I combine drumming skills with language skills to help children associate rhythm with language.

I co-founded the business networking group Wimbledon Women in Business with Cate Newnes-Smith in 2003, in order to provide a forum for local female entrepreneurs to come for support and information and to share experiences. The group is still going strong today, meeting once a fortnight, and always welcomes new members. It was this group that inspired me to write my first book Make It Your Business.
