Lucy was Project Manager and Team Leader for the planning, masterplanning, infrastructure and smart city work streams. She facilitated the science and technology advisory group including input from Bosch, Siemens, RWE, UKAEA and other stakeholders from Harwell Campus and Culham Science Centre such as the Satellite Applications Catapult. She engaged extensively with the local community, parish councils, residents associations and schools as well as housing developers including Taylor Wimpey. The smart city themes focussed on mobilty, housing, energy and health.Didcot Garden Town is the real estate development and regeneration of the existing railway town to plan for 15,000 new homes and 20,000 new jobs by 2031.The first stage was to produce a Delivery Plan which sets out the vision, masterplan, landscape strategy and implementation plan including a list of 65 projects and funding need of £650M. The delivery plan has been adopted as Council Policy in October 2017 and can be downloaded from South Oxfordshire District Council website.

As General Manager of UK subsidiary (10 stores) for this innovative French retail chain (part of LVMH group) responsible for P and L, logistics, HR, marketing, finance, and direct operational management of the stores. She was a member of International Board of Directors in Paris. She managed a sales team of 150, 10 store directors and a head office team of 10 and reported to the European CEO. During this time, Lucy negotiated opening, reducing the size of and closing stores in London, Brent Cross and Milton Keynes. She was also directly involved with supplier negotiations with top beauty brands Estee Lauder, Clarins, Parfums Christian Dior, Cartier, Kenneth Green, Benefit and YSL.

She project managed the first internet strategy which led to the first website with e-commerce and the diversification strategy which resulted in opening a new men's fashion concept store within Paris. Responsibilities included commercial strategy, financial forecasts, real estate negotiations, concept development, supply chain, merchandising, e-commerce and project management with the in-house design and creative teams and external consultants. Any work at Harrods is subject to Listed Building Consent so lengthy negotiations with Kensington and Chelsea Planning Office were required. Lucy also negotiated with Hounslow Council with respect to opening a factory outlet at the Harrods warehouse in Osterley. Harrods owned numerous other properties in Kensington and Chelsea and there was an ongoing programme of refurbishment and redecoration.
