As administrator at Chingford House School, I was responsible for ensuring that the school runs like clockwork! This meant dealing with huge amount of paperwork to do with registering and enrolling our children, not just within the school but also on the Local Authority portal. I dealt with the school budget and wrote and updated the policies which cover.

I ran an online company Boxtree Boxers which specialised in selling boxer shorts, offering a great collection of stylish and high-quality boxers in a frequently changing range of patterns and colours at reasonable prices. I absolutely loved selling online but it was a constant nightmare trying to juggle supply and demand so I reluctantly retired the shop.

I was the managing editor of The Economist Newspaper, looking after more than 175 staff, and handling an annual budget of £15 million. The main part of my job was problem-solving - from the mundane to the very sensitive - and making sure that The Economist kept to its annual budget, sometimes difficult in times of recession.
