● Delivered high quality football sessions for children aged 18 months to 5 years of age.● Planned all the sessions beforehand, completed risk assessments, took a register to ensure children were accounted for and adhered to Health and Safety requirements. Regularly updated paperwork and made checks to equipment, first aid kits and any accidents that may have happened.● Improved my interpersonal skills and ability to adapt in high pressure situations. Worked within a team to delegate certain parts of the session to assistant coaches and made effective decisions on the session plans.● Improved the sessions each week, seeking out feedback from managers and parents. Dealt with any queries or problems efficiently.● Ran a coaching session without bibs, nets and cones, and just 5 footballs - which I obtained from the venue, when a colleague failed to arrive to the session. Informed parents of the situation and successfully delivered the session, demonstrating resilience and perseverance.● Worked with venue staff collaboratively when preparing the session's location to ensure mutual respect.● Greeted and checked out parents and children, forming long-lasting relationships and celebrated their successes. Patient towards children and ensured they were advanced to the next session in order for them to be in an accurate environment for their skills.● Promoted to Lead Coach after 14 months and enjoyed the extra responsibility and the challenges that came with the role. Encouraged the team to overcome challenges in their role and improve whilst supporting and motivating their development as a coach.
