I’m the type of person who can’t stop doing a jigsaw puzzle until I’ve finished putting all the pieces together. I channel that same diligence, creativity and dedication as a Senior Access Developer at IT Impact. I work with all kinds of firms across the country as I help clients navigate through the possibilities offered by the family of Microsoft applications. People tell me the systems they’re currently using are tedious and slow. They’re missing deadlines due to out-of-date tools, and they can’t rely on overworked in-house software developers to fix the problem. I love working for a small and nimble firm that helps them resolve these issues. IT Impact creates custom Access database software solutions for clients around the world. We are a Microsoft Silver Partner with seven Microsoft Access developers on staff; two are Microsoft Access MVPs.We use Access to move clients away from manually inputting data. Outdated spreadsheets, pencils and paper are retired as we transition them into a new world of modern, information management. Our firm also has expertise beyond Access. We can use SharePoint, SQL Server, and Microsoft VB.net to help clients access the power of their data. When I work with clients, I am a consultant first and represent the software-developing side second. My goal is to listen, understand our clients’ business needs, then work with them to design solutions that meet their needs. With the technology challenges addressed they can focus their time on more important things – like moving forward with strategic initiatives.I also create client dashboards for the Power BI cloud-based analytics service, which is revolutionizing how the world works with business information.
