Extensive experience and directly responsible for planning & purchase of all packaging supplies and empty bags for multiple manufacturing facilities to support the bagged good demand for over 14,000,000 bags annually. Knowledge with issuing RFQs, negotiating pricing of packaging supplies, choosing vendors, and interfacing with Plant Managers as well as suppliers to solve packaging problems. Responsible for ensuring the short and long-term supply of all raw materials for multiple packaging facilities to meet the demands of our customers including maintaining and developing long-term relationships with suppliers, contract development, and renewal. Accountable for maintaining appropriate annual flow of raw materials to the plants to maintain supply. Accountable for managing supply shortages and surpluses including interfacing with Plant Managers and sales people to manage inventory levels. Responsible for applying process improvements that positively affect Supply Chain including annual BOM meeting, logistical improvements, and sourcing improvements. . Experience with developing and managing annual production schedules and labor plans in conjunction with budget requirements to meet the needs of the customer while maintaining sufficient inventory levels. Experience working with several “in-house” bulk sales customers to offer products and services in order to maintain and grow bulk sales. Interfacing with Plant Managers to ensure we can service the demands of our bulk customers. Extensive experience working with managing Customer Service Department to including supervision over three customer service representatives. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and VAI System 2000.

In charge of all facets of bookkeeping duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities. Responsible for all end-of-month procedures in preparation of and including P&L statements. Responsible for all aspects of payroll, including bi-weekly processing of checks, employee files, and yearly W2 batch runs. Extensive knowledge of Boardroom Oil Jobber and OSAS accounting software.
