Key responsibilities:Devise, deliver and manage a comprehensive and co-ordinated annual advertising, sponsorship and income generation plan to support the Council’s objectives. Implement the income generation plan to achieve agreed income targets for advertising and sponsorship.Sell Nottingham City Council’s portfolio of advertising products (including print, city dressing platforms, and other advertising platforms) to internal clients and external clients, including partner organisations.Provide a media planning and buying service to colleagues in the Communications & Marketing team and wider Council, advising on and securing effective advertising platforms (including non-NCC) to reach the full range of target audiences, online and offline, local, regional and national, securing best possible value for money.Project manage and deliver a high quality and well-organised sponsorship service from start to finish, providing strong relationship management throughout the process for both clients and sponsors.Monitor and review the success of all advertising channels, campaign activity and schemes through effective evaluation, making recommendations to senior managers for continuous improvement, linking into the wider communications and marketing performance reporting and monitoring systems.Ensure all communications are presented accurately, to a high standard and in the appropriate tone of voice and in line with the Council's house style and brand guidelines.
