Triaging and coordinating intakes and referral of clients to the regions for allocation toservices. This will include referrals of individuals, couples, families and complex andpotentially high-risk cases escalated to Open Arms via a number of referral pathways. Ensuring effective and efficient intake for clients requesting Open Arms counselling, groupand/or case management services. Ensuring escalated cases are identified and promptly triaged. Ensuring risk assessment and safety planning is completed during intake calls and appropriatefollow up action taken. Liaison with internal and external stakeholders in relation to follow-up actions in coordinatingcare for cases identified at intake as required. Provide brief telephone intervention to clients in distress who may require immediate clinicalsupport. Ensuring that cases identified as complex or high-risk are referred to the Assistant Directorsfor follow-up and referral to the Open Arms regions, where relevant. Appropriate record-keeping and documentation regarding management of intakes identifiedrisk cases. Ensuring compliance with Open Arms clinical practice policy, including the mandated use ofspecific clinical forms/templates (e.g., Intake Document, Risk Assessment and ManagementPlan documentation).

- Work with a variety of multicultural clients to establish & increase needs.- Case management, PSP, integration & maintenance of welfare & mental health. - Undertake welfare officer duties, counselling sessions in CBT & Narrative Therapy & provide advice & techniques/tools for psychological issues.

- Collaborate with case managers & community partners to deliver effective treatments through coaching & crisis intervention techniques.- Conduct visits to administer clinical tools for assessing child development & health.- Implement motivational interview skills, assess risks factors for child abuse, neglect, substance use & violence, & assist families in problem-solving & coping techniques.
