I am the Managing Director of Cognitive Law Limited, and a practising solicitor. I have over 30 years of legal experience, 26 of those years as a qualified Solicitor. I specialise in providing commercial legal services to the recruitment sector, as well as running the business on a day to day basis.Cognitive Law is a contemporary law firm built on foundations that empower our solicitors to think client first, every time. I am retained to attend to their contentious and non-contentious legal issues including terms of business, client and supplier contracts, back door hires, Intermediaries Legislation & IR35 issues, Restrictive Covenant Enforcement and refusals to pay.I have hands on experience in dealing with all the legal aspects of contract and permanent recruitment. I advise on contractual matters involving personal service companies, umbrella companies, RPOs, and payroll companies. My expertise is business focused, and extends from simple debt recovery and cash-flow management, to High Court litigation.
