I love to create ideas and write projects. I spend most of my time being curious, versatile, developing ideas and giving them life later. For more than 10 years I have been involved in the Amazon RainForest conservation. However, the last 4 years I spent specifically designing, writing, and executing personal projects linked to education (art), conservation and productivity as an independent consultant. In 2019 I was awarded with the IFCI Grandt of the Ministry of Culture-Ecuador to share reading engagement tool to teachers in Huaticocha, Orellana. Based on this experience, later on I had the chance to cofound a Children's Reading Club with a local coffee cooperative (Witoca). This experience allowed me to become even more involved with the community challenges and get deeply engaged with productivity, organic farming, climate change, and of course coffee. Together we wrote projects, looked for funds, and applied it. This year, as a scholar of the Atlas Corps Virtual Institute, I could strengthen my skills and tools for project design and grant applications. This experience allows me to develop and maintain autonomous projects working directly with populations in vulnerable situations.I am also passionate about Storytelling as a tool for social change. For the last 2 years, I have been collaborating with UNDP as a workshop leader in the Human Libraries Project, which annually trains community leaders to support their causes.In my free time, I guide tourists or students through the Amazon, explore new coffee shops, drink lots and lots of coffee, write stories, develop my skills as a junior barista and devour books by Laura Serrano, Claudia Piñeiro, and many other contemporary Latin American voices.
