Strategic, M&A, International Development and Finance advisory

Heading the Corporate Development function for Lyreco (leader in B2B Workplace Supply Solutions, €2.3 bn of revenue, active in 25 countries in Europe and Asia) and member of the extended Executive Leadership Team. In essence responsible, with a central team of 3 development managers, for:- Participating actively to the definition of the group strategy and digital transformation program- Leading M&A deals (end to end) execution- Open innovation initiatives and start-up direct investments or through VC funds (Partech...)- Strategic partnerships, JVs- Business and Competitive Intelligence- Conducting market researches, identifying opportunities- Ongoing contacts with prospective acquisition targets, originating deals- Launch of Greenfield operations (ex: Central Europe, 4 countries) or new businesses (ex: Nespresso B2B distribution, 7 countries...)- Integration planning, assisting newest operations to move to Lyreco - Portfolio review, divestment of non-strategic operations- Real Estate projects- Investments for the family holding

Responsible for the financial accounting, reporting and control activities of 7 subsidiaries: in Asia (Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan), UK, Ireland and Germany; representing EUR 475 million of consolidated revenue.

Created the controlling department of the newly formed German subsidiary (EUR 100 million of revenue, combining 2 acquired companies in Stuttgart and Hannover), managing one assistant, ie implemented all controlling tasks and duties (budget, planning, reporting, performance analysis, recommendation...) and coordinated for the whole finance department (i) the finance function integration planning as well as (ii) the SAP implementation program.
