I've led small teams in creating prototypes of new tools, been the department SME on many technical topics, and trained others in software development practices.Most recently, the scope of my responsibilities have expanded to include maintaining the codebase for a second application and being the co-owner of a critical SharePoint tool. My workload has shifted to include a lot more product management work, which has broadened my perspective and led to new opportunities in discovering ways to improve the services we provide to our customers.My previous work as a technical support specialist where I both served complex issues for customers and discovered critical bugs helped me to learn a lot about thinking like a user rather than a developer,. This experience brought forward has been key to my current role in bridging the gaps between teams.Outside of work I enjoy working on my own tech projects when I'm not too tired from parenting, which includes toying with a small homelab server and developing my own games or small apps. One of my greatest passions is tabletop roleplay games where I have played as a dungeon master for 15 years. I consider it to be one of the best activities ever for improving creativity, social skills, and time/ resource management.Is this summary meant to be more formal and or professional sounding?
