Worked on the creation of a benefit and risk analysis of the elimination of sampling and testing of certain materials received by the plant. The processes and peculiarities of about 100 different materials were studied. Upon implementation, it was estimated that the recommended reduction would save tens of thousands of dollars per material (millions in total). The project is currently undergoing a risk assessment investigation to certify it’s viability. Resume writing and public speaking workshops were also taken. As well as certified Lean six sigma yellow belt training. The use of programs such as microsoft excel was also refined.

ESCAPE is a non-profit organization dedicated to help victims of disaster and domestic violence in Puerto Rico. I had the opportunity to shadow the director of the organization’s west side division in her clinical work as a family psychologist. Also I contributed in the creation of workshops offered to the community. These ranged in topics from maternity to disaster preparation.
