I led experimental aspects of the organization. I designed and performed experiments related to my research and helped other junior members in their efforts. I interfaced with customers and collaborators from ideation and design through execution and deployment of projects. I also mentored new incoming lab members, including doctorate, undergraduate and high school students.

I designed and performed experiments, as well as developed statistical machinery that estimated uncertainty in BASF's catalyst development process.

I led research efforts in the catalytic fuel conversion wing. I was responsible for an SBIR phase I development program in partnership with USAF.

During my stay as an associate researcher I used chemical engineering knowledge to conduct research about cellulosic materials gasification. This entailed the usage of modeling tools such as Aspen Plus, python, Microsoft Excel, and so on to develop models on wide temperature range gasification at different heating rates.During my stay as a graduate research assistant, I characterized the performance of a thin layered Ni catalyst for steam-methane reforming. This included building and maintaining a catalyst test facility, performing reforming tests, and interfacing with an industrial collaborator along new developments to ensure satisfactory results for our industrial and academic partners.

I designed an enhanced oil recovery process using Aspen Plus. For this project a vapor mixture was used to aid in oil recovery efforts from nonconvensional sources. Part of my contribution included developing models to predict composition, energy content, and state of our vapor mixture.
