Being a good listener, being curious and facilitative, learning how to pay attention, asking the right questions, reflecting and paraphrasing, avoiding judgments and providing the right feedback have never been more important in these ever changing times. I have been learning to master these skills from the very first traineeship days until today. Having gained more awareness and inclination after working across energy, banking and consulting sectors at PGNiG, Deutsche Bank, PwC, Royal Norwegian Embassy and STTAS, a UPS company, I finally landed an opportunity at Polish Investment and Trade Agency. In my current role I have been actively and passively promoting Polish economy internationally, helping Polish companies break the (in-)visible boundaries of global trade and encourage them to think and go global. However, on top of that, I have been responsible to coordinate effectively my team of 150+ working across all time zones, to help them grow and give them space to struggle and shine.In 2023, my Team received over 13,000 requests for support / information from Polish entrepreneurs (up by 30% y/y), organized 5,402 B2B meetings (up by 235% y/y) and conducted 637 events promoting Poland and its economy at home and abroad (up by 51% y/y). With our support Polish entrepreneurs signed 628 export contracts (up by 38% y/y). In the years 2020 - 2023, the cumulative value of export contracts signed with Export Department’s support exceeded PLN 2 billion (known values). In my free time you might find me: hiking, biking, sometimes even running, listening to podcasts about history and economics, reading, scrolling through LastFM or Twitter, smelling the sea and feeling the sky. My quest for learning and growing never stops.
